The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) was facing a major strategic challenge, needing to meet the demands of a rapidly growing population without a corresponding budget increase. Prosci's solution involved training CDOT leaders, managers, and employees in its ADKAR Model and methodology, and establishing a robust Change Agent Network to promote change management at all levels. By integrating Prosci's approach with its lean process improvements, CDOT achieved significant results, including a 55% reduction in permit error rates and the elimination of 23 steps from a contract process, reducing review time from five days to three.
