A Prosci Case Study
The Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) Flight Standards Service, responsible for the safety of U.S. air transportation, faced the challenge of effectively navigating ongoing, complex organizational changes. To build enterprise-wide change capability, the FAA partnered with Prosci to embed a new mindset, skillset, and toolset for leading change across its organization of over 5,400 employees.
Prosci's solution included certifying internal change practitioners, training leaders through sponsor briefings, and developing an enterprise change management strategy. As a result, the FAA certified approximately 40 change practitioners and trained over 5,400 employees at all levels. This partnership established a new three-tier service model for change, leading to more successful project outcomes and the creation of a robust internal change competency.
