One of the world’s leading aviation groups, made up of several major European carriers, faced the challenge of scaling and customizing metasearch and marketing-channel distribution without overloading its host PSS or relying on traditional look-to-book ratios. The group needed instantaneous, accurate sales offers across many partners and markets with tight control over booking classes and passenger types.
PROS implemented its FastSearch precomputed-pricing solution, Sales Offer Manager and a web-based sales console to enable real-time configuration, deep linking and rapid partner integration. The solution now delivers millions of priced flight results with millisecond response times across more than 70 markets (reported across 75 international markets), enabled quick integrations, and helped double the group’s metasearch partners to over 40 in 2018.
