A global cargo airline (500–5,000 employees) needed to modernize pricing and streamline bookings. Sales teams faced long quote turnaround times because most quotes required approval, the company lacked customer analytics for online booking, and its quoting/booking capacity couldn’t scale with demand.
In August 2019 the airline implemented PROS Smart CPQ and Smart POM, integrated with its CRM to enable online booking, real‑time pricing, and guided quote creation. As a result, quotes requiring approval fell from 80% to 50%, sales teams produced quotes faster and focused on higher‑value work, and the airline handled up to three times its normal booking workload during the pandemic.
