Cyprus Airways, a newer airline working to improve its digital retailing, faced challenges with fare pricing accuracy, distribution control, and direct sales on its website. The airline needed a way to reduce pricing discrepancies, better manage shopping traffic, and improve the customer shopping experience. To address this, Cyprus Airways partnered with PROS and used PROS Offer Marketing, OneSearch, and Repricer on its new IBE.
PROS implemented the shopping and offer management solutions to deliver more accurate, real-time pricing and better control over website distribution. As a result, Cyprus Airways says it eliminated pricing discrepancies that were causing customer loss, improved pricing accuracy, and reduced distribution costs. The airline also noted PROS delivered the Shopping solution on time in five months and is now exploring additional PROS capabilities to grow ancillary revenue and support NDC and merchandising.
