The Largest Cargo Airline began its digital transformation with PROS in 2018 to improve booking, customer experience, and pricing strategy. When COVID-19 sharply increased airfreight demand and reduced cargo capacity, the airline needed a way to handle a surge in quotes and bookings more efficiently.
PROS implemented pricing and CPQ solutions through a new online booking tool and enterprise-wide revenue management system with dynamic pricing, capacity management, and guided quoting. As a result, the airline generated nearly twice as many quotes and almost three times as many bookings in March 2020 versus February, hit 1,000 bookings in a single day, and reduced quotes requiring approval from 80% to 50% while cutting approval-related email by 75%.
