Ochsner Health System, southeast Louisiana’s largest non-profit academic health system with more than 14,000 employees, was struggling with a sprawling employee master-data problem—roughly 150,000 historical and duplicate records from multiple source systems—which left data stewards unable to maintain accurate certifications, specialties and availability critical for operations and emergency response. Their initial MDM tool was slow to deploy, developed technical issues, and used a pricing model that prevented the growth Ochsner needed.

Ochsner replaced the prior solution with the Profisee Platform and engaged Profisee’s Accelerator services to build a production-ready employee model in about six weeks (compared to eight months previously). Profisee’s match-merge capabilities, stewardship UI and Golden Record subscription views re‑engaged stewards, surfaced previously undetected data errors, enabled round‑trip updates for the phonebook (covering ~14,000 active employees and ~20,000 listings), and delivered consistent master data to downstream systems — establishing an affordable, scalable foundation to expand MDM to provider and patient domains.
