Legrand North America, the North American arm of the global Legrand Group, faced fragmented data across eight subsidiary businesses and eight different ERP systems, which undermined its "One Legrand" reporting and cross-selling goals. The disparate customer and product lists forced sales reps into manual, error-prone reporting and prevented a single authoritative view of customers and products. To tackle this, Legrand partnered with BlumShapiro and centered its master data management strategy on the Profisee Platform.

BlumShapiro implemented an MDM solution using the Profisee Platform alongside Microsoft Master Data Services (MDS) and BizTalk to create a centralized MDM hub, enforce governance with data stewards, align customer/product/sales hierarchies, and automate integrations. The Profisee Platform deployment was completed in six months and delivered measurable impact — including an estimated $1.2 million annual reduction in customer reporting costs — plus improved account penetration, clearer sales performance visibility, and faster time-to-integration for acquisitions.
