L3 Technologies’ L3 Security Detection Services (SDS) division, a major aerospace supplier, faced significant data-quality and integration challenges while replacing its legacy MINX ERP with Infor on Azure. Duplicate customers and vendors, missing or incorrect addresses and contact details, and disparate parts/BOM data across engineering, Siebel field service and CRM systems risked moving bad data into the new ERP. Profisee was engaged to provide an MDM/data management solution to prevent that outcome and synchronize the customer, vendor, parts, sites and BOM domains.

Profisee implemented a “Golden Records” strategy to cleanse, de‑duplicate and synchronize Customer, Vendor and Parts records, plus workflows and a vendor-parts matching process to maintain accuracy across systems. The effort removed decades of dirty records, reduced manual effort to create Golden Records by 69%, eliminated 90% of Access database dependencies, and dramatically cut the need for custom ETL and time to production for the new ERP—improving sales analytics, reducing inventory on hand and strengthening customer SLAs.
