UNE EPM Telecomunicaciones S.A., a leading telecom operator in Pereira, Colombia with about 600 employees, was struggling with more than 50 paper-based processes that were hard to track, slow approvals that delayed customers, and a lack of timely information to improve performance. They also needed better platform performance to support roughly 60 concurrent users of ProcessMaker.

UNE upgraded to ProcessMaker Enterprise, reviewed and optimized all workflows, and redefined supervisor and reassignment permissions, completing a nine-month rollout covering 50+ processes and 500+ end users. As a result they gained greater visibility and control, handled more cases thanks to improved performance, and greatly reduced inefficiency and paper use (now only used for regulatory requirements).
