A ProcessMaker Case Study
The Ministry of Housing, Construction, and Sanitation of Peru, responsible for housing, construction and water supply policy, faced a paper‑intensive, Excel‑based contractor registration process that was slow, error‑prone and lacked an audit trail or reporting tools. Evaluating applications and tracking status across stakeholders was tedious, making it difficult to assess environmental performance and enforce filing requirements.
The Ministry implemented ProcessMaker, a low‑code BPM platform, to centralize data and automate workflows (45‑day rollout with 10 users). Integrated email notifications and a portal for applicants automated status updates and reduced manual steps, resulting in a fully automated registration process with faster evaluations, fewer human errors, improved communication, enhanced data integrity and greater transparency.
