The company struggled with a centralized, paper-driven procurement and line-request workflow handled by phone and email—resulting in inconsistent request formats, repeated status inquiries, manual approvals, no performance metrics, and frequent delays across central and regional offices.

With support from Colosa, Nuevatel implemented the web-based ProcessMaker integrated with SAP Business One and Microsoft Active Directory to standardize electronic forms, automate approval routing, send status notifications, and apply preapproved legal templates. The rollout delivered shorter procurement times, complete traceability, elimination of paper forms, and a scalable platform for automating additional processes.
