Maptek, an Australian mining-technology group of over 250 staff, was running critical HR, finance and project processes with paper forms, spreadsheets and email. That led to bottlenecks, missed steps, delays on projects—especially when staff were distributed or travelling—and inconsistent, hard-to-measure work quality.

Maptek piloted ProcessMaker on expense and purchase requests, leave, employee files and timesheets, then rolled out Dynaforms more broadly and tied them into a quality management approach while leaving specialist development tools in place. The result was faster, more transparent workflows with fewer paper-based delays, improved consistency and easier handling of remote staff—23 workflows rolled out to about 140 users in short implementation cycles.
