A ProcessMaker Case Study
The Land Administration and Management Program (LAMP) of the Jamaican government, working with GeoLand Title Ltd, was responsible for transferring land title rights (including Grants of Letters of Administration) but relied on a slow, paper‑based process. Applications were lengthy, hard to track, prone to fraud or misplacement, frequently incomplete, and created storage and customer‑service problems.
GeoLand implemented Colosa/ProcessMaker’s BPM to automate three integrated workflows—Client Prospecting, Land Title Application and Surveying—using validated electronic forms, case tracking and email integration. The automated system shortened processing times, reduced errors and paper storage, improved transparency and customer service, and delivered an estimated 2,000 hours saved annually after a six‑month rollout handling about 2,000 monthly cases.
