A ProcessMaker Case Study
DINARDAP, Ecuador’s National Directorate of Public Data Registry, is responsible for consolidating and managing public registration information across the country. Before automation, judicial notifications were sent by physical letter to 237 property registries, a paper-heavy process that took up to 90 days, delayed proceedings and increased costs and legal uncertainty.
Using ProcessMaker’s workflow platform, DINARDAP implemented SINE (Electronic Notification System), allowing judges to start cases via a web form and send notices online to registries nationwide. The automated system reduced processing time from 90 to about 15 days, handles 1,500–2,000 cases daily across 250 judges, cuts paper and state costs, improves real-time information sharing and legal security, and is now required by presidential decree.
