Adams County/Ohio Valley School District (ACOVSD) serves about 3,800 students across seven schools and two administrative buildings spread over 489 square miles in South Central Ohio. The district struggled with a paper-based requisition process that required physical routing for approvals across a large geographic area and sought an online solution for routing and approving employee purchase requests.
ACOVSD implemented ProcessMaker Campus to automate its Requisition Request process, launching in two months and now serving more than 600 staff with roughly 400 requests processed monthly. The online workflow eliminated physical routing, enabled automatic posting to the district’s Uniform School Accounting System (USAS), and delivered immediate efficiency gains—estimated annual savings of 1,200 hours and $10,000–$15,000—while improving service to internal and external stakeholders.
