A Proactis Case Study

Preview of the Sell2Wales Case Study

Sell2Wales helps businesses across Wales win public sector contracts using Proactis

Sell2Wales is the Welsh national eProcurement portal set up by the Welsh Government to help businesses locate and bid for public sector contracts across Wales. The challenge was to standardise tendering, make it easy for public sector buyers to publish and manage opportunities, and open up access for SMEs; Proactis was engaged to deliver a bespoke e‑procurement solution built on its myTenders publishing service to meet these needs.

Proactis implemented a single national portal that consolidates all Welsh public sector notices (including OJEU uploads), supports Quick Quotes for low‑value procurements, ESPD responses and full tender lifecycle management — today the service covers 890+ authorities, 34,000+ active suppliers and about 50 OJEU notices per month. The result is stronger buyer–supplier communication, billions of pounds of public contracts advertised annually, and increased access for Welsh SMEs to find and win contracts; Proactis’ platform has been in use since 2012 and has measurably improved reach and efficiency.
