RTE modernizes its supplier catalog management with Proactis

RTE, the electricity operator with more than 9,000 employees, needed to modernize supplier catalog management as part of its digital transformation. With around 25% of orders going through catalogs, RTE wanted a more ergonomic tool, richer product content, and a more efficient search function to help 1,400 users reduce out-of-contract and non-compliant purchases. Proactis provided the catalog management and internal marketplace solution used to meet these needs.

Proactis implemented a user-friendly platform with enriched catalogs, product descriptions, photos, punch-out stock visibility, and simpler search, while supporting RTE from design through production, training, and ongoing maintenance. The result was faster user adoption, a significant increase in managed catalogs and punch-out sites, better visibility of approved content, and a drastic reduction in non-contract purchases and controlled spending growth. RTE also kept the solution integrated with SAP-SRM 7.
