Leeds Beckett University, a UK institution with 3,000+ staff and 24,000+ students, needed to streamline a highly decentralised procurement function (around 500 buyers) after upgrading its Unit4 Business World ERP. Proactis implemented a marketplace integrated with Unit4 Business World that hosts 21 catalogues and 12 punch-outs and processes over 12,000 orders annually. The solution streamlined ordering and electronic PO distribution, increased on‑contract buying, reduced maverick spend, and delivered near‑100% straight‑through invoice processing for XML invoices, giving Leeds Beckett faster ordering, better compliance and more accurate management information.
