Bright Horizons, a childcare provider operating 320 nurseries, needed a more efficient way to place purchase orders and manage invoices across the business. It selected Proactis, using Proactis Purchase-to-Pay, Invoice Capture and Marketplace integrated with its PeopleSoft finance system, to improve end-to-end procurement and spend visibility.

Proactis implemented a centralized procurement and invoice-processing solution that supported SOX controls and rapid product changes when needed. The results were strong: 98% of users accessed the system in the first two weeks, 11,000 orders were raised in six weeks, and 12,000 invoices were received, with 60% processed automatically without AP intervention. Proactis also enabled Bright Horizons to quickly shift to central purchasing during COVID-19 and support reopening with the supplies each nursery needed.
