Bauer Media Achieves Straight-through Invoice Processing and Payment With Proactis

Bauer Media Group, a large media and publishing organisation, needed to centralise Accounts Payable and eliminate reams of paper invoices, manual spreadsheet expenses and limited visibility of spend across many legal entities. To achieve this they extended their use of Proactis, notably Proactis Invoice Capture and its PO/online expenses modules, to streamline purchase orders, invoice intake and approval workflows.

Proactis implemented straight‑through invoice processing with seamless SAP integration, automated “no PO, no pay” handling, electronic expenses and a self‑billing workflow for freelancers. The Proactis solution made all invoices visible and payable from within SAP, sped up and improved payment accuracy, reduced manual AP effort and expense processing costs, improved supplier relationships with far fewer queries, and freed AP staff to focus on higher‑value work.
