Master Electronics, a 450‑employee authorized electronics distributor, was wrestling with extreme turnover—its operations team had a 111% attrition rate—when Head of People Jon Trevor introduced The Predictive Index to bring structure to hiring. Trevor used PI Hire tools including the PI Behavioral Assessment (and later the PI Cognitive Assessment) and PI Inspire to standardize candidate evaluation and onboarding.

Working with a PI Certified Partner, MindWire Group, The Predictive Index assessments were required before offers and integrated into new‑hire orientation; managers and hires received behavioral reports and Relationship Guides. The results: total company attrition fell from 71% to 38%, distribution center attrition dropped from 111% to 58% (a 53% decrease), headcount rose 13%, new‑hire attrition declined 32%, and Master Electronics saved $2 million in recruiting, onboarding, and training.
