PI people data drives Advocator Group’s talent strategy

The Advocator Group (TAG) is a nationwide advocacy firm that helps people apply for Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI). Faced with high turnover among client advocates (CAs) who must support clients through a stressful, lengthy benefits process, TAG’s leadership sought a way to define the behavioral profile for success in the CA role. They partnered with The Predictive Index, initially using PI’s Hire solution and the PI Behavioral Assessment™ to improve hiring and recruiting decisions.

The Predictive Index implemented a people-data-driven approach — using PI Hire and behavioral assessments to create Job Targets, then expanding to PI’s Design solution with the PI Strategy Assessment™ and an Execute Strategy with Confidence workshop to align leadership. As a result, TAG improved CA retention through the first 90 days, exponentially reduced recruiter interview time, enhanced the candidate experience, and has seen early gains in retention, employee engagement, and strategic alignment across the organization thanks to The Predictive Index.
