Mario Tricoci Hair Salons & Day Spas, a 1,200‑employee hospitality and beauty company with 15 locations, faced the challenge of building a reliable internal leadership pipeline and reducing management turnover while promoting from within. To solve this, they adopted The Predictive Index’s Behavioral Assessment and PI platform to guide hiring, development, and leadership decisions.
Using The Predictive Index, Mario Tricoci trained leaders as PI analysts, embedded PI language into daily operations, and applied PI for hiring, team analysis, coaching, and conflict resolution. The results: management turnover fell from 20% to under 5% (a 4X reduction), average manager tenure rose about 60% (from 4 to 6.5 years), and roughly 90% of managers are now promoted internally.
