How Formstack built a strong culture with remote teams by focusing on talent strategy

Intellistack is a remote-first technology company of about 200 employees that struggled with miscommunications and shifting team dynamics as it scaled—from roughly 25 to over 200 people—especially as new managers learned how to lead remotely. To preserve culture while improving manager–employee relationships, Intellistack relied on The Predictive Index tools, having used The Predictive Index Hire previously and moving to PI Inspire to support individualized management.

Using The Predictive Index, Intellistack administered the PI Behavioral Assessment to new hires, shared Reference Profiles with managers, and deployed the PI Relationship Guide and Management Strategy Guide to coach managers on tailored approaches. The Predictive Index helped create more productive, better-communicating teams, reduced time spent on conflict resolution, and supported healthy culture during rapid growth—outcomes reflected in the company’s scale to ~200 employees and strong employee sentiment (Glassdoor rating 4.5).
