Case Study: FAM Brands achieves increased productivity and employee engagement with The Predictive Index

A The Predictive Index Case Study

Preview of the FAM Brands Case Study

How FAM turned better employee engagement into enhanced productivity

FAM Brands, a Los Angeles–based retail company of about 350 employees that owns brands like Marika and Bally Total Fitness, was seeing unexplained turnover despite new performance, promotion, and compensation programs. After a generic SurveyMonkey engagement survey failed to reflect FAM Brands’ culture, Director of Talent Kasey Konkright sought a more granular tool and turned to The Predictive Index, adopting the PI Diagnose solution (including the PI Employee Experience Survey).

Using The Predictive Index’s PI Diagnose and Employee Experience Coaching, FAM Brands ran a company-wide survey with more than 80% participation, uncovered manager- and process-related blindspots, and implemented targeted fixes—improving cross-team communication, increasing productivity, launching one-on-one coaching for high-potential employees, creating a partner-level EVP role, overhauling benefits and review structures, and upgrading analytics. The Predictive Index’s confidential, actionable reports and guided action plans enabled swift, measurable improvements in engagement, trust, and operational effectiveness.
