Slovak Telecom - Customer Case Study

Slovak Telecom, newly rebranded after market deregulation, needed a fast, integratable customer communication management (CCM) solution to work with its CRM, rating and billing systems and existing print-shop processes while delivering a redesigned invoice without increasing paper and mailing costs. Precisely was chosen to provide the CCM capability, using EngageOne Compose (with Vault for storage) to meet the tight timeline and technical integration requirements.

Precisely implemented EngageOne Compose to produce personalized, multi-channel documents, optimize print files for the existing fulfillment process, and manage the full document lifecycle (PostScript for printing and PDF for archiving). The combined solution went live in 14 weeks; the first production run processed over 8 GB of bill data for more than 1.1 million customers in 5.5 hours, preserved mailing costs while improving invoice design and mail handling, and left Slovak Telecom in control of ongoing development — leading to an ongoing direct relationship with Precisely.
