To protect member account integrity and meet strict availability SLAs, Heritage engaged Precisely and deployed Assure MIMIX HA for AIX as its replication and high-availability solution.

Precisely implemented Assure MIMIX HA for AIX to replicate UniVerse in real time to a secondary AIX environment, providing automated failover, point-in-time recovery and snapshot-based backups. The solution reduced disaster-recovery failover from about one hour to ~30 minutes, saved Heritage more than one hour of operational processing time six days per week by offloading tape backups, eliminated the threat of extended unplanned downtime, and ensured member data integrity and continuous availability.
