Domino’s Pizza, the largest Domino’s franchisee with more than 1,500 stores, faced growing complexity in managing franchise territories because its territory and household counts relied on infrequently updated census data and manual processes, causing territory disputes, lost customers and poor data quality. Domino’s engaged Precisely and used a custom Location Intelligence solution built with MapInfo Pro, Spectrum Technology Platform and StreetPro to modernize address governance and territory planning.
Precisely implemented certified address validation and automated territory listing so addresses within a boundary are determined in minutes instead of the previous two-week manual process, with lists refreshed quarterly or on demand. The solution increased Domino’s delivery reach, reduced revenue loss from “dead” or incorrect addresses, improved the customer ordering experience by routing customers to the nearest store, boosted internal productivity and lowered legal risk from territory disputes.
