Samsung earns an A grade for ARTIK IoT security with Praetorian

Samsung faced the challenge of securing its end-to-end ARTIK IoT platform, from individual hardware modules to its cloud services, to address the new levels of complexity and risk inherent in IoT security. To meet this challenge, they engaged the cybersecurity vendor Praetorian for a comprehensive IoT product security evaluation.

Praetorian executed an end-to-end security assessment for the Samsung ARTIK platform, benchmarking it against an extended version of the OWASP Application Security Verification Standard. As a result of this evaluation and subsequent remediation, Samsung strengthened its platform's security and earned an "A" grade from Praetorian.
