The English Catholic publisher La Croix International faced the challenge of integrating a paywall without sacrificing its website traffic and reader engagement, while also aiming to grow its subscriber base. Poool's solution involved creating a customized conversion funnel that used A/B testing and segmentation to present different user journeys, including newsletter walls and free articles, before requesting a subscription. This strategy allowed La Croix to dramatically increase its conversion rate, doubling its number of subscribers within a year.
