PointClickCare implemented its Emergency Department Care Coordination (EDCC) platform, which provided real-time notifications when patients presented at hospitals with injuries or patterns suggesting domestic violence or suicidal ideation. This enabled RBHA social workers to conduct follow-up within 48 hours. The solution delivered measurable results, with 53% of all program referrals—representing 262 identified survivors of domestic violence—coming directly from the PointClickCare platform, greatly improving outreach and continuity of care.
