Amplitude, a digital analytics company, needed a scalable way to manage its customer advocacy program. Its previous process was manual and inefficient, over-using a small group of advocates and placing a heavy burden on the Customer Success team. With no formal structure, regional inconsistencies, and a lack of processes for coordinating references and marketing activities, the company required a centralized solution to build deeper advocate relationships.

To solve this, Amplitude implemented the ReferenceEdge platform. This provided the backbone for their new global "AMP Champs" program, enabling them to systematize advocate recruitment and manage requests. Using ReferenceEdge, they launched a successful monthly nominations campaign and created a formal process playbook. The results were significant, with over 150 advocates enrolled and 217 advocate nominations received globally in the first quarter after implementation.
