Wilson Diamond’s crystal clear approach to collecting more reviews

Wilson Diamonds, a single-location retail jeweler, faced a common problem: online feedback tended to skew negative and didn’t reflect the majority of satisfied customers. When Podium proposed a more proactive review-collection approach, Store Manager Shane Corrigan adopted Podium’s review-management tools—including its mobile app and Dashboard—to make it easy for sales staff to request reviews at the point of sale.

Using Podium’s mobile app and Dashboard, Wilson Diamonds trained staff with scripts and incentives to send review invites immediately after transactions and to track results from one place. The effort produced measurable gains: a 66% increase in reviews (adding 101 new reviews in a short period), 253 total reviews, a 4.6 average star rating and a 59% click-through rate, while also boosting employee morale and teamwork—outcomes driven by Podium’s platform.
