SimonMed Imaging, the nation’s largest physician‑owned outpatient radiology and imaging practice, struggled with mixed online reviews despite strong same‑day service and convenient locations. To improve visibility and patient engagement, SimonMed partnered with Podium, using its review-generation tools, sentiment analysis, and Messenger platform so regional managers could receive alerts and respond to patient feedback in real time.
Podium’s implementation across all SimonMed locations drove dramatic results: reviews surged (50,800 total reviews) with a 153x increase in average monthly reviews and a jump from a 2.5 to roughly 4.5 average star rating (a 51% increase). Podium’s Messenger also improved patient communication for scheduling and billing, while sentiment analysis revealed key patient priorities to inform service improvements.
