A Podium Case Study
NewRoads Auto Group faced the challenge of ensuring a balanced online reputation—making sure the many satisfied customers outweighed the small vocal minority of unhappy ones—by collecting more authentic reviews on Google, Facebook and DealerRater. To do this, NewRoads selected Podium and its messaging-based review-collection platform to make it easy for sales staff to solicit feedback and for customers to respond via text rather than email.
Podium’s solution delivered text invitations, prioritized the most trusted review sites, and was integrated into the sales process (with contests to keep staff engaged). Since adopting Podium, NewRoads’ five dealerships have collected 1,055 new reviews and maintain a 4.6 overall star rating, improving their ability to address negatives and yielding what Anthony Gilpin calls a strong return on investment with Podium.
