Helping Van Horn Auto Group stay one step ahead of the competition

Van Horn Automotive Group, which operates 15 dealerships in Wisconsin and Iowa, needed to strengthen its online presence as customers did more research before visiting showrooms and were less likely to spend a full day at a dealership. To turn positive in-person feedback into visible online reputation, Van Horn partnered with PODIUM and adopted Podium’s review- and messaging-management platform to make it easy for satisfied customers to leave reviews.

PODIUM was piloted at a few dealerships and then rolled out across all 15 locations, giving staff a simple way to send review invitations and customers direct links to review sites. The rollout produced a steady stream of positive online reviews that improved Van Horn’s Google and other review pages, and the new feedback flow also boosted employee engagement through monthly leaderboard reports—results that Van Horn credits directly to PODIUM.
