American 1 Credit Union, a South Central Michigan credit union serving more than 58,000 members, was in growth mode but had a stalled online review process and few new positive reviews. After an auto-dealership partner recommended Podium, American 1 demoed Podium’s services (including Podium Webchat) to address reputation management and boost member-driven feedback.
American 1 implemented Podium and saw dramatic results: an 81x increase in average monthly reviews, 321 total reviews, and its average star rating rising from 3.9 to 4.6 (about an 18% improvement). Podium Webchat also improved customer engagement and local search visibility, helping the credit union appear higher in branch-area searches and support sustainable membership growth.
