Plum Voice implemented a voice survey solution that lets employees call an 800 number, identify themselves, and answer status questions about evacuation, family safety, and whether their residence is habitable. The responses flow back to Aerospace Engineering Company’s accountability system in real time and are stored in the company’s own database for security. The result was a scalable backup channel that provided more detailed data than SMS or email, handled calls from up to all 180,000 employees simultaneously, and delivered the 99.9% uptime the company needed.
