IronRoad is a Professional Employer Organization that provides payroll, benefits and HR services to a diverse client base and uses PlanSource’s benefits software to manage those programs. IronRoad faced a complex business model, an entirely paper-based manual enrollment process, heavy coordination across departments, and the operational strain of open enrollment seasons.

PlanSource implemented a flexible, customizable benefits platform (deployed across IronRoad’s clients in 2017) that automated enrollment and added built-in reporting and centralized data. As a result, PlanSource eliminated the need to borrow 9–10 employees during open enrollment, replaced Excel spreadsheets with robust reporting, and transitioned IronRoad from 100% paper enrollment to a faster, more accurate digital experience.
