Clearway Energy Group, a renewable energy company with 900+ employees, needed a more user-friendly benefits system to handle a comprehensive benefits package, automate eligibility checks, and support a dispersed, diverse workforce across 32 states amid recent acquisitions. They partnered with PlanSource in July 2020 to replace their existing benefits system and targeted a November launch in time for open enrollment.

PlanSource implemented its benefits platform (integrated with UKG Workforce Ready) in four months, delivering 24/7 employee self-service, improved and schedulable reporting, and HR/carrier integrations that automated updates. The PlanSource rollout saved about 30 minutes of HR work per new hire, roughly two weeks of HR time during open enrollment, reduced employee questions, improved reporting visibility, and increased enrollment completion and data accuracy.
