A PlanGrid Build Case Study
TEECOM is a technology consulting firm that designs AV, acoustics, telecom, security, networking and other low-voltage systems for large commercial and healthcare projects, including New Parkland Hospital (Dallas) and Stanford Health Care South Bay Cancer Center (Los Gatos). Both projects faced fast-paced schedules, massive footprints and large, siloed contractor teams, making traditional paper plans, punchlists and coordination costly, slow and error-prone.
TEECOM adopted PlanGrid for fast sheet rendering, shared current plans, customizable issue-tracking stamps and photo documentation, which streamlined punchlists, improved contractor coordination and reduced rework. Across the two projects TEECOM saved roughly 2,444 hours (about $340,000 in billable labor), avoided $82,500 in rework and $1,750 in printing, for total savings of $440,000 on a $4,800 PlanGrid cost — an ROI of about 9,067%. New Parkland alone saved $312,000 (10,916% ROI) and the South Bay Cancer Center saved $114,000 (5,600% ROI).
