How Stowe Australia Took Autodesk Construction Cloud from Proof of Concept to a Business-wide Solution

Stowe Australia, the country’s largest privately owned electrical and communications contractor with a century-long reputation for service excellence, struggled with institutional knowledge trapped in project- and employee-level silos. Manual sharing and multiple point solutions meant data wasn’t consistently accessible across the business, creating inefficiencies and limiting the ability to apply lessons learned beyond individual projects.

Digital Engineering Manager Matt Fern led a year‑long proof of concept with implementation partner ARKANCE and then rolled Autodesk Construction Cloud out company-wide. The platform created a common data environment used across design, build and operations, reducing paper, enabling single-entry data, and improving coordination between estimators, engineers, HSEQ, project managers and executives. Early gains included an average 7-minute per user per day time saving in Docs during the POC, plus better data accuracy, faster decision-making and scalable adoption across Stowe’s 14 branches.
