Bartlett Cocke builds Children's Hospital of San Antonio

Bartlett Cocke, one of Texas’s largest general contractors, deployed PlanGrid on two large healthcare projects in 2014: a $135M full renovation of Christus Santa Rosa Children’s Hospital (12 floors, occupied facility, minimal laydown, extensive BIM/laser-scan coordination) and a $45M Academic Learning and Teaching Center at UT Health (occupied campus, tight laydown, complex tunneling). Both projects required working around mission-critical operations and keeping drawings continuously up to date across many trades.

Using PlanGrid’s cloud platform with automatic syncing and version control, Bartlett Cocke cut printing and distribution, reduced time spent searching and coordinating drawings, and dramatically lowered rework from outdated documents. The teams reported hundreds of thousands in project savings (Project 1: $377,024, ROI 3,251%; Project 2: $799,556, ROI 5,126%), an average ROI of 4,189%, and substantial paper, time, and rework reductions.
