BMW wanted to improve the showroom experience for customers and staff with a digital tool that would help visitors choose vehicles, navigate the showroom, and support ownership services. PixelPlex developed an IoT-enabled web and mobile solution using iBeacons, combining a showroom mobile app for iOS and Android with a web app for BMW staff.
PixelPlex delivered showroom navigation, visitor location tracking, heat maps, attendance statistics, and customer service features such as maintenance booking and service history access. The solution also gave BMW employees tools to monitor interest in car models, respond to requests, and work more closely with each client. The project was completed in 4 months.
