A Pitney Bowes Case Study
Willis Group, a global leader in risk management advising corporate clients, insurers and reinsurers, needed faster, more accurate location-based assessment of client exposures across 150+ countries. To achieve high-resolution, cross-border geocoding and full visibility into catastrophe models, Willis engaged Pitney Bowes and adopted the Pitney Bowes Spectrum Technology Platform to bring geocoding, data-quality and mapping capabilities into analyst workflows.
Pitney Bowes implemented the Spectrum platform (integrated with Willis’s Microsoft stack), giving Willis full control of geocoding, data validation and international coverage. The result: geocoding that once took up to eight hours now completes in about one hour, more precise catastrophe modelling for perils such as flood, wind and earthquake, consistent cross-country exposure comparisons, quicker analyst workflows, better client data validation and improved reporting to support regulatory requirements — all delivered by Pitney Bowes.
