Case Study: Peabody Housing Association achieves clear, paperless asset management and accurate service charges with Pitney Bowes Confirm

A Pitney Bowes Case Study

Preview of the Peabody Case Study

Peabody Housing Association builds a clear view of its assets

Peabody, one of London’s oldest and largest affordable housing providers, manages 7,000 homes in Thamesmead and 800 hectares of public realm. Faced with paper-based inspections and spreadsheet billing that produced poor data quality and a “cloudy view” of assets, Peabody engaged Pitney Bowes to deploy Confirm® Enterprise Asset Management and the ConfirmConnect® mobile module, with support from Pitney Bowes Consulting Services.

Pitney Bowes configured Confirm, integrated it with Peabody’s mapping software and supplied mobile workflows so inspectors can record defects, photos and fixes in the field with real‑time dashboards for scheduling. The solution consolidated all asset data, supports tracking about £7 million of work per year, enabled largely paperless “find and fix” operations, and — according to Peabody — allows service charge estimates down to the penny while greatly speeding inquiry responses and improving customer satisfaction.
