Orange Romania broadens data access for greater operational visibility

Orange România, a leading Romanian telecommunications provider, needed to centralize coverage, service and incident data so customer service and operational teams could quickly answer coverage and outage questions. To keep sensitive information on‑premises, Orange România rebuilt its internal mapping app CovXpert using Pitney Bowes Spectrum Spatial Analyst and the Spectrum Location Intelligence module (with MapInfo Pro) to broaden access while meeting confidentiality requirements.

Pitney Bowes implemented an on‑premises Spectrum Spatial Analyst solution, customized CovXpert to display signal quality, service availability, incidents, antenna locations and coverage, and enabled role‑based access controls. The result: easier data consumption and GIS analysis, faster deployment and management, and expanded internal use — CovXpert now serves more than 1,100 Orange România employees with usage continuing to grow.
