Topshop - Customer Case Study

Topshop sought a fresh way to bring runway color trends from London, New York and Paris to everyday shoppers and to drive awareness, website traffic and actions. The challenge was to make those trends timely, personal and easy to shop across both digital and in-store experiences.

Using the Pinterest API, Topshop launched Pinterest Palettes — an interactive app that analyzes a user’s boards and Pins to create a personal color palette and then dynamically recommends shoppable items from the product catalog. The campaign included a revamped Pinterest profile and in-store touchscreens and iPads with color-arranged sections, and delivered strong results: a 17% increase in Pins created from the Topshop site, a 260% boost in impressions, a 262% rise in engagements (saves and clicks), 55 press stories and widespread positive social buzz.
