FlyAway BlueJay is an online shop selling curated handmade pieces from small artisans. To create awareness and grow online sales, the brand needed to acquire new mobile customers—people browsing Pinterest for gifts who were unfamiliar with the shop.

Using Pinterest’s mobile-first Buyable Pins, FlyAway BlueJay turned browsing into purchases: 100% of Buyable Pins sales were from new customers, Pinterest drove 20% of overall sales and 28% of website traffic during the holidays, and Buyable Pins produced more orders than any other social source. The campaign also expanded sales beyond jewelry and beauty into other categories and made Pinterest the company’s top social channel for traffic and revenue.
